Our Eco Group provides a unique opportunity to empower pupils to lead change within our school and have a positive impact in the wider community. We encourage pupils of all ages and abilities to work together to develop their knowledge and environmental awareness. It encourages our pupils, provides increased confidence, develops leadership skills, improves pupil well-being, behaviour and is a great motivator at school.
With the children taking ownership of the programme by developing action plans, monitoring and evaluating projects and creating a whole school approach, it provides them with an increased sense of responsibility to the school and local community.
