Elm Class

Welcome to Elm Class Page!

Hello, I’m Miss Jacobs and I teach in Elm class.

It is a real pleasure to teach the children in Elm Class, and I am committed to fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment where every pupil feels respected, supported and excited about learning. My aim is for children to feel confident to challenge themselves, ask questions and take pride in their achievements.

In addition to my role in the classroom, I have a responsibility for leading Geography across the school. I am enthusiastic about developing strong geographical understanding and helping children build skills that will support them throughout their education.

Reading is something I really enjoy, and an author I would recommend to children in this age group is Katherine Rundell. Two excellent books for 10-year-olds are The Explorer and The Good Thieves. Her stories are full of adventure.
